However in the last few days a lot of people were confused why the page with more than 12 million followers was suddenly based in Austria, Europe. But now it was clarified in an IG story that the new content creator of the page is a 20 years old Austrian. He’s known under the name @Nolu on Instagram but his full name is Niklas Lerchster.
He was born on July 24, 2000 in Villach, Austria and is no stranger to the platform. He has been active on Instagram since 2015 and posts more than 100 posts a day on various accounts. “In 2015, I simply uploaded things I found funny on an account and they went viral“, says Niklas himself in an interview 2018. 6 years later, he has an over 20 million follower instagram network. More than 10.000 people follow his private account @nolu although it was banned for more than 2 years. Niklas himself wonders how his private account came to this range because he always wanted to be anonymous. “It was never my goal to build up social media accounts. I just uploaded so many posts daily for fun. I set myself different alarms throughout the day to be reminded to offer my followers new content. I have to admit that I often thought about just not posting anymore because it took me so much time and Instagram has changed a lot in the last few years.
I have acted a lot with my community and they helped me a lot to continue to pull through tough times which I am very grateful for. Now, however, I couldn’t be more happy about this decision although I had to endure a lot of envy and jealousy in my circle of friends. Social media has changed my life a lot, which I am very happy about.
