Singapore, Singapore, 3rd Apr 2023, King NewsWire – Veblen Director Programme (VDP) today announces that 3 of their members have been placed on the board of European-listed company, Incergo ($ICG) through the Veblen Board Apprenticeship initiative to promote Diversity & Inclusion (D&I) on Boards.
Commenting on the partnership, Darren Taylor, Founder & Chair of Incergo said: “Veblen Director candidates are not only talented in their own right, they tap into the global Veblen Network to give us access to new investors and industry best practice on multiple topics. We are excited about working with them to enhance shareholder value.”
Incergo has partnered with VDP to onboard three board apprentices; Marisa Agrasut, Hetul Patel and Ralph White, who bring their collective 60-plus years of corporate experience to accelerate the company’s growth strategy. The Veblen team join existing board members, Darren Taylor, David Callister, Adrian Knight and Charles Etonde.
Marisa Agrasut said, “This board apprenticeship role is exciting because it combines exposure to two unique initiatives – the Veblen Director Programme and Incergo’s franchisor acquisition model. I wholeheartedly appreciate Darren Taylor’s commitment to diversity whilst growing his business and look forward to bringing my experience in strategic innovation to support the stakeholders of the business”.
Hetul Patel added, “I’m very excited to be joining the Incergo board and grateful to the Veblen Program for this opportunity. It is great to see forward looking companies partnering together to lead the way in promoting D&I. With 20 years of financial services experience I’m eager to get started on our mission to create exceptional value for our shareholders and business owners.”
Through working with the Veblen Director Programme to implement this apprenticeship programme, Incergo hopes not only to fast track its own growth, it is also looking to drive positive change and serve as a role model for other businesses to follow. “Companies with diverse boards are more likely to achieve better financial results,” adds Taylor, citing a study by McKinsey & Company. “I firmly believe in the benefits of D&I and am committed to ensuring that the Incergo board reflects the diversity of all its stakeholders.”
Ralph White commented, “Through this opportunity I am excited to contribute over 27 years leadership experience and support Incergo’s growth in North America. Working with Veblen we are building a sustainable business with a strong focus on ESG to benefit shareholders. This is a dynamic team and a wonderful opportunity for all investors”.
