Nashville Religion Communicators Prepare for National Convention in April

by Binary News NetworkMarch 17, 2023

The Nashville Chapter of the Religion Communicators Council (RCC) meets monthly to talk about topics of interest and hear from professionals in religious communications.

Nashville, TN, 17th March 2023, ZEXPRWIRE, The Religion Communicators Council (RCC) is an interfaith association of religion communicators at work in print and electronic communication, marketing and public relations. The Nashville Chapter meets monthly to learn about other faith traditions, learn from fellow communicators and gain professional development opportunities.

The April meeting will not take place but will be replaced with Nashville RCC members attending the National Convention in Chicago.

The Religion Communicators Convention 2023 has the theme “Listening to Life: Telling Stories that Matter,” and is in person April 19-21, 2023 at Fourth Presbyterian Church in Chicago.

This is a joint production of the Religion Communicators Council, Associated Church Press and others working to bring you the best in programming and networking.

Keynote presentations and workshops will include topics such as post-COVID religious demographics, interfaith dialogue, website and social media analytics, dealing with stress and change on the job, how to keep up with new technologies, crisis management, photography, fundraising, and polarization and conflict, and more.

Rev. Brian Fesler, President of RCC said: “We have such a great lineup of presenters, but what I look forward to the most is coming together in person. Our members love to spend time with old friends, meet new ones, learn and break bread together, and be refreshed for the year to come.”

The RCC has members from every faith group and walk of life including Baha’is, Christians, Jews, Muslims, Scientologists, Sikhs, Hindus and more. The RCC, founded in 1929, is an association of communications professionals who work for and with a diverse group of faith-based organizations in the areas of communications, public relations, advertising and development.

The RCC provides opportunities for communicators to learn from each other. Together, RCC members promote excellence in the communication of faith and values in the public arena. For more information about the Religion Communicators Council, visit religioncommunicators.org/nashville-chapter.
